there is no meaningless job
My job is sales and marketing of medical product, and daily routine is pretty much going around drugstores from place to place by a car inside of Tokyo, which isn't actually tiny area all in all.Here is what I noticed thesedays.
"there is no meaningless job"
Sometimes it happenes that every job is put into certain categories and arranged in so called job hierarchy. Cleaners of toilets, security guards of parking lots, dumper truck drivers....there are oh so many kinds of job that we usually tend not to pay attention in daily life. Here in Tokyo, you might be astonished at the number of people in a job which just tells you to hold a advertisement board on streets all day long. And what I'm surprised the most is there is a job in at platform of a train station, in which workers are expertised in pushing people into mighty crowded train in the morning.
Okay, as an example of importance of every kinds of job, let's pick up "security guards of parking lots".
If there weren't any security guards in parking lots in Tokyo......it would have been huuuuuuuge chaos. As a matter of fact, I didn't really notice the fact that there are incredibly a lot of security guards every here and there in this city before starting my job, but once pay attention to detail of move around the city.... you'll definitely see how such a cworded city works decently.
Though some people might take it granted for that there is no meaningless job, I wanna dare to say it loud.
Do pay attention to familiar scenery, then you'll see something new.

observation
Observing people is something that I like for recent days. In a train, bar, cafe...it's interesting to see what people are up to do.The thing is that I'm currently living in Tokyo where over 8 million people are. My home town is Nagoya which locates in the middle of Honshu, a bit far from here. Compared with the place where I used to live, Tokyo is much bigger and everywhere seems to be just chaos, but if you are from contryside, it feels even more. However, looking at positive side, there are so many opportunities to meet up various people every here and there depends on your action. So as a whole, I love this city, Tokyo.
In such a packed city, observing people is pretty interesting.
I still remember the impressive word that one of Finnish friends said to me in front of scramble crossing near Shibuya station...
"Where those people are heading???"
This was so hilarious:) If you look at people walking on scramble crossing from the building, I would say it's very reasonable comment. And what's more, he's from Finland in which population is only 5 million so it's more understandable to say that.
I love change of scenery as time goes by. Even if Tokyo scenery seems just chaos at some point, when you halt, you can see "fragile beauty" in it.

Look at things carefully
Focusing on one thing like a camera, you probably cannot help missing something behind. That's how it is. There is some technique in order to control so-called "human-lens".As for myself, it's opposite. I'm kind a person who can easily miss overall picture of things. So I often do my best to step backward so that it's possible to get a whole picture; neverthelss, it's not that easy and tell you what will happen next: it become difficult to be able to keep an eye on tiny things when I try to be backward. How come we cannot focus on everything? I'd have been thinking like that for a long time, but then realized.
"There is no perfect picture".
Like a photo, a picture of things is diversity.
Just take it as it is and learn from that, therefore next time we'll look at things, pictures can be much better and beautiful.

Who decides criteria?
Who decides "criteria" of our life?
That's not people around us but ourselve.
It seems so easy question, yet sometimes we can get confused in between public opinion and ours. I assume this tendensy is very common especially among Japanese. Rigid framework that people should be like "this" and "that" ties up them in many occasions. To be honest, it took long time for me to realize that criteria is something which should be decided by ourselves. What a shame; nevertheless, I'm so happy to be able to notice it eventually.
When I tried something new, I used to be afraid the other side, so-called "risk". But now, I don't care about that. "Risk" is sort of a friend of new excitement and we should get along with that.
Create your own criteria of life, and go for it.

ギリシャ人現る現る、そしてそこには何かのメッセージが？
そういえば先週の日曜日くたくたになって名古屋から帰省したと思えば、いきなり友から電話がかかってきて東京に来ているから飲もうという話に。
結局疲れていると言いながらも飲みに行ったわけだが。
またどういうわけかマイナーな国の人に話しかけられる(笑)
the ギリシャ。
なぜか私を見るなり
「Are you from Hokkaido, aren't you?」
とか話しかけてきて
「いえ、名古屋出身です。でも東京に住んでいます。」
と冷静に答えたdoruko(笑)
なんか変なひとだなぁと思いながらスルー。
友の元へと戻り「変な男がいたよ」なんて笑い話にしてたら
現る現るその変な男。
今度はパーフェクトな日本語で流暢に話しかけてくる出ないの。
で、
何を主に話してたかって
何故か
宗教について(笑)
超真剣トーク。
いやはや彼はイスラム教信者らしく毎日メッカに５回お祈りしてるとかなんとか。彼女とデート中に一時間くらい彼女を放置してお祈りしたこともあるとか苦笑。バーによく現るくせにいつも飲んでいるのはグレープフルーツジュース。あら意外と変なところで真面目なのねという印象。
結構みんなで盛り上がって色々話したけど、帰り道途中まで一緒のときに家族の話になって。
dorukoが中３以来父親と会ってない話をしたら何故か何故かこの変なギリシャ人に「絶対あった方がいいよ。いや絶対会うべきだよ。」と真剣に説得される。。。
なぁぜぇ～～～～
初めて会った人がこんなに真剣に私を説得するのはなぁぜぇ～
この変なギリシャ人との出会いには何か意味があったんだろうか。
なんて、
また考えてみたりする。

Lateの存在とは
ゴールの見えない遠距離恋愛は辛くないか。とよく聞かれることがある。
でもどうなんだろう。
ある程度この生活に慣れてくるとこれはこれでいいのかと思えてくる。
年に２、３回会い、お互いを確かめあう。
フィンランドで一緒に暮らしていた時のような現実味は味わえないけれど、それでもつながっていることに価値はある気がする。
付き合うっていう定義はその人それぞれが決めるもので、そんなカタチにこだわらなくてもいい。たとえそこに「付き合っている」というカタチがなくてもまた違ったカタチで関わり合っているかもしれないし。
付き合っている人はいるのかと聞かれたときにイチイチ説明するのがめんどくさくて「いないよー」ということもしばしば。
たまたまLateはフィンランドで生まれた人で、私は日本で生まれた。ただそれだけのこと。
でも実際問題、人に話をするときに自分たちの付き合いがなかなか理解されにくいのは何だかもどかしい。
恋だの愛だの、カテゴリーには分けずに
「一人の人間との関わり」と見なすと
もっと深くて安定したものになる気がする。
そんな気がする今日この頃。
たとえ傍にいたって明日はどんなことが起きるか分からない。
傍にいても遠くにいても、全ては心の距離次第。
深い、実に深い。

感覚的時間
今dorukoの部屋には時計がありません。
こりゃこまったとこの前時計を購入したのに未だに付けずじまい。
目覚ましは専ら携帯電話。
あとは体内時計に任せています(笑)
時計がない生活をしてみて思ったこと。
時計がないことのプレッシャーで体内時計がきちんと動くようになる。
目ざましがなくても目が覚める。
何故か夜に一回、目を覚ましてしまう癖がついた。
↑これは不健康そう？苦笑。
えにうぇい。
感覚的時間っつーのは面白いもんで
あーーーやっべ。また長らくうたたねしちゃったよー。もう朝の５時くらいかと思いきや２時だったり。
まだ全然気分は夜９時前だぜ！って思ってもとっくに夜中の１時を超えていたり。
つまりは
時間なんて思いよう。
ないと思えばないし、あると思えばある。
効率よく使いたいもんだ。
３時間睡眠で生きられる人がうらやましいいいいい。

ふたりの信号が変わるとき
毎日高速乗って長距離を運転していると、ふとこの「信号が変わる」タイミングが新鮮に見える時があります。このタイミングを少し間違えるだけで人生が大きく変わると思うと、ただの信号、されど信号様という感じになります。少々運転が荒いと言われるdorukoですが、一人で運転していると荒さが増すのでできるだけ安全運転を心がけています(笑)
えにうぇい。
Lateが来月来るというのに何だかもどかしい気持ちでいっぱいなのはどうしてでしょうか。７か月会っていない間に色々大きな転機が起こりすぎて、自分が変わってしまったような気がします。変わらず私に微笑んでくれる彼の姿を見て切ない気分になってしまいました。マンネリなのか倦怠期なのか・・・それとも本当に私が変わってしまったのか・・・。
恋愛至上主義だった私が今はあまり恋愛に興味がない・・・。
そんなことってよくあるんでしょうかねぇ。
いや、たぶん一人でいることの味をしめてしまったのでしょうか・・・。
一時的なものだと祈りたいものです。
彼を一途に好きだった自分が好きでした・・・。
今は何だかちょっぴり自己嫌悪。

遠距離恋愛にピリオド・・・
さぁ。約一年ちょい、遠距離恋愛を続けているdoruko。
彼がこっちに来たり私があっちに行ったり。
かれこれ６か月くらい会っていない私達。
毎日電話やスカイプで話すのがroutine。
仕事が忙しくなって時間がとれなくなって
新しい環境で新しい出会い、刺激的な日々。
将来フィンランドへ移住する気があるのかと
問われると、頭の上にはクエスチョンマーク。
ゆくゆくは・・・あり得るかもしれないが。
でも当分は放浪していたい。
日本は出てるだろう。
でもフィンランドでとどまれるのか・・・私？
となとな
漠然とした疑問。
そして
彼への気持ちがどうなのか。
正直これまた漠然としている。
まぁそんなこんなで
軽く別れ話的な雰囲気をかもし出したら・・・
なんと
来月急遽日本来日決定(笑)
↑なんか中国語みたいだな・・・
Anyway,
そういうことで
そういうこと。
よくわからんが
もーこうなったら
成り行きまかせじゃ。
考えるんじゃなくて
感じろ。
そういうこっちゃな。
考えたって
仕方ない。
恋愛は理屈じゃないんだろうなぁ。
